For many years it has been accepted that opening the front door without confirming the identity of a caller can leave you vulnerable. Blue Sky Security Systems will design an access system to suit your requirements to minimise these risks. The entry level for this type of system would be a door entry unit adjacent to the front door, connected to a handset inside your home. A caller to your home would push the "doorbell" button, you can then talk to the caller from the safety of your home before you decide whether to open the door. For your further convenience extra handsets may be installed throughout your home, in the bedroom, lounge, kitchen, even the bathroom. If going to the front door to open it is inconvenient to you, we can install an electric lock. This would allow you to open the door to friends and family from anywhere in the house.

The elderly, infirm and disabled can safely let family, doctors, etc. into the home without leaving their chair or bed. The access system can include video pictures, giving you the added security of confirming a callers identity. The callers ID card can be inspected, the picture and their face compared before the door is opened. The video pictures can be seen on small handsets around your home or if you prefer on your TV set. When the video is connected to the TV you can even record the images of who has called even if you were out.
